Measurement Guide1
These are very close fitting garments. It is best to be in the raw when having your measurements taken. If possible, have someone help you out when taking measurements. If ordering custom fitted garments, please describe your general build (athletic, mature, short, tall, etc.) and any particular fitting problems you may have (large abdomen, large seat, leg stance,body stance, etc.)
Custom fitting is available on all garments. Please supply personal measurements as given in this guide.
Custom made garments cost 20% more than standard sizes.
For standard sizes, refer to sizing chart at bottom of this page.
11 - 16 : Natural waist length: measure from base of the neck to waistline.
12 - 13 : Half across the back: measure starting 15 cm down from point 10 across to point 13 on back side.
3 : Chest: place the tape under the arms round the body at chest level. Make sure the measuring tape passes over the shoulder blades.
5 : Natural waist: tie a string around the waist to establish the natural waistline.
6 : Trouser waist: Measure 10 cm below the natural waist.
7 : Seat: measure around the largest section of the seating area, about 21 cm down from point 16.
10 : Neck: measure around base of neck. Take measurements from the lower edge of the measuring tape.
1 - 2 : Shoulder: measure from the base of the neck to the shoulder bone.
2 - 9 : Sleeve length: measure from shoulder bone to wrist bone.
21 - 20 ; Side seam length for trousers: measure from trouser waist position down to heel seam of shoe.
17 - 19 ; Inside Leg: measure from high in the crutch down to base of foot.
8 : Wrist circumferance: measure around wrist.
23 : Ankle circumferance: measure around fullest part of ankle.
21-22: Side seam length for in-the-boot trousers: measure from trouser waist position down to just above the ankle (point 22 is 3 cm above the fullest part of ankle).
